Cold Brew Guide

This is a really simple guide for cold brew coffee. Did you know that cold brew coffee is about 65% less acidic that normal “hot” brewed coffee? This means that cold brew can be more friendly on the stomach. Want to have a go yourself? Follow our step by step instructions to have a go yourself.

What do you need to make cold brew coffee?

To make cold brew coffee you are going to need the following items:

  • Coarse Ground Coffee
  • Filtered Bottled Water
  • Cold Brew Scales
  • Scales
  • Favourite Cup
  • Patience

Step by step cold brew guide:

  1. Weigh out around 60 grams of whole bean coffee and grind on a coarse setting like you would for a French Press.
  2. Fill your jug with bottled water, around one litre (filtered is best).
  3. Add the coffee grounds to the filter and submerge in the water.
  4. Wait patiently and allow the coffee to brew for around 12 hours in the fridge.
  5. After 12 hours, gently shake to stir the coffee, pour over ice.
  6. Enjoy your delicious Cold Brew Coffee.
