Cold Brew Guide
This is a really simple guide for cold brew coffee. Did you know that cold brew coffee is about 65% less acidic that normal “hot” brewed coffee? This means that cold brew can be more friendly on the stomach. Want to have a go yourself? Follow our step by step instructions to have a go yourself.
What do you need to make cold brew coffee?
To make cold brew coffee you are going to need the following items:
- Coarse Ground Coffee
- Filtered Bottled Water
- Cold Brew Scales
- Scales
- Favourite Cup
- Patience
Step by step cold brew guide:
- Weigh out around 60 grams of whole bean coffee and grind on a coarse setting like you would for a French Press.
- Fill your jug with bottled water, around one litre (filtered is best).
- Add the coffee grounds to the filter and submerge in the water.
- Wait patiently and allow the coffee to brew for around 12 hours in the fridge.
- After 12 hours, gently shake to stir the coffee, pour over ice.
- Enjoy your delicious Cold Brew Coffee.
